After nearly five years of writing here, I’ve decided to step away from this site soon.
It wasn’t an easy call. I’ve published regularly, paid for hosting and SEO tools, and tried to grow this space into something meaningful. But sometimes, you have to look at the numbers honestly. While I’ve been fortunate to reach thousands — even tens of thousands — of readers elsewhere, this blog has remained quiet. Five to twenty-five daily visitors, even with weekly posts. That’s not sustainable.
In June, I passed 120,000 views on Medium.com. That’s where my community lives now — readers who comment, share, subscribe, and even support my work through ebook purchases. It’s a place where my writing has real momentum. And it’s where I plan to keep building.
So this isn’t an end — it’s a refocus.
If you’ve appreciated anything I’ve written here, I hope you’ll follow me over to Medium – https://medium.com/@drmichaelhunter. That’s where you’ll find my latest essays — on aging with dignity, staying strong, living with purpose, and what dying patients have taught me about being fully alive.
And if you’re ready to take the next step in your health journey, I’ve created a powerful Micro-Habits system — an ebook and toolkit you can download here:

Thank you for being here.
Now, let’s meet again over there.
